Nicki Minaj reroutes the party line to Highline Ballroom in NYC.

Nicki Minaj was forced to cancel a planned event celebrating her appearance on Saturday Night Level due to overwhelming ticket sales. All is not completely lost however. Nicki plans to change the venue for a location that can house the high demand for tickets. Nicki had originally planned to host a post-SNL party as Scores NY, a reputed strip club in Manhattan's core. According to the Blast, Scores NY began selling tickets but were force to halt once sales reached a number well beyond capacity. Unfortunately that calls for an end to the adult festivities, as initially planned.

Confusion arose last week when Nicki Minaj publicly denied any part in the Scores NY event, making that denouncement under the impression the event had already been cancelled. The news is only disappointing to fans who were hoping to see a marriage of adult entertainment and hip hop live in the flesh. Nicki Minaj is reportedly ecstatic that more people can attend in what is believed to be a "safer and bigger" venue. Although promoters signed a deal that doesn't entail Nicki performing, they remain hopeful the crowd will coerce her into at least a few songs while on stage.

Doors open at 9 P.M. at Highline Ballroom in NYC. Tickets start at $50, all ticket holders from the initial campaign received an updated address at the original ticketed price with an option to receive a refund, should they reconsider attending.
