"Luke Cage" premiers at the end of September.

Marvel's live action series, Luke Cage is coming to Netflix later this month, September 30th to be specific, and today we have a new official trailer to get us hyped for the series premiere.

About the show: Cage, a former convict, was given superhuman strength and unbreakable skin during a botched experiment and he now fights crime in his Harlem neighborhood. Starring Mike Colter, it will be Marvel's first African-American led series.

If you're familiar with the "Jessica Jones" story or have seen that series on Netflix, you'll recognize Cage's character as the bartender who had relations with the female superhero. That fact that Cage got his own spinoff after that successful series has other Marvel fans hopeful that Misty Knight's character, to be played by Simone Missick, will also be getting a series in the future.

For now though, we can just look forward to the upcoming Luke Cage entire series which will be releasing on Netflix at the end of this month.
