Once more the Marvel Cinematic universe continues to entice fans and is rewarded, in turn. Recently, the MCU unveiled the latest trailer to come of the upcoming Avengers: Endgame film and within 24 hours, the film has become the second-most viewed trailer in a 24-hour frame in history after fans watched it a record 268 million times across platforms.
The trailer that beat it out? Its predecessor in the form of the first Endgame trailer, which was viewed 289 million times within its first 24 hours. What's more, is that the film that previously held the record for the most of all-time was a trailer for Avengers: Infinity Wars, which was viewed 230 million times.
Naturally, the amount of views that each Avengers film garners with time is due to the clever marketing employed at Marvel, with fans banking on finding hidden clues about the films' plots in the trailers, a game Marvel plays well.
To add to the celebration, Marvel is also basking in the succes of its most recent Captain Marvel film, led by Brie Larson. The film, Marvel Studios' first female-led outing, has now dominated the box office for two weeks straight, amassing a total of $266 million at the domestic box office.
