By now, Ne-Yo may be known for his big pop anthems, but on "Hotbox," he's back in slow jam territory. Getting an assist from Eric Bellinger, another writer who excels crafting classic R&B, Ne-Yo delivers an icy slick track that's full of satisfying production tricks but succeeds ultimately on the strength of its melodies. At this tempo, it's probably not set up for radio play, but whether you're come from the Babyface fan or the Bryson Tiller era, you should find something to like here.

The track comes off Ne-Yo's new album Good Man. “I named the album 'Good Man' because this album is kind of a snapshot of where I am now in my life.  I am currently 38 years old, happily married for two years, I have three children and one on the way. My priorities have changed. This album is kind of a lead by example in regards to what it is to be a good husband to your wife, a good boyfriend to your girlfriend, a good brother to your brother and just a good guy to the world.” he said of the album. Listen to it here.

Quotable Lyrics:
Let's have a conversation, little conversation
But we don't gotta speak, no, we don't gotta speak, no
We can talk with our bodies
At the line, you in shock at your body
I'ma do things you never thought to your body
