EA Sports has announced for the first time ever all 12 WNBA teams will be included in NBA Live 18.
The WNBA has been around since 1997 but the women in the league have never been featured in a video game until now. EA Sports first started including women's teams in their video games with FIFA 16.
While NBA 2K has taken over as the premiere basketball video game across all platforms, this addition by EA Sports and NBA Live figures to encourage 2K Sports to follow suit.
NBA Live 18 will release on PS4 and Xbox One this fall. A free demo is scheduled to release on August 11th, although the demo won't feature any WNBA players.
