Nappy Roots are back at it again this Friday, with the fourth instalment in their #somethingsgottagive music series. After hitting us with the Southern affair "Deep End" featuring Scotty ATL last Friday, this week we get an introspective record once again utilizing as a piano melody. SMKA are on the boards as per usual, with additional assistance from affiliate producer Kato. SMKA will be entirely producing Nappy Roots' upcoming album The 40 Akerz Project, so we can probably consider these weekly cuts as warm-up records to the album (and if this is just the warm-up, the album won't disappoint).
The 40 Akerz Project is due out in March, while Nappy Roots will be heading on tour at the top of the year.
