The Murs-9th Wonder connection has proven to be one of the sturdier creative partnerships in hip hop, dating back to their classic 2004 album Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition, which still slaps. The partnership has now even endured a 2012 collab called The Final Adventure -- before the ball dropped on New Years Eve, they shared their sixth full collaboration, a new project called Brighter Daze.

Today marks the release of Murs' Have A Nice Life, his first since 2013's Yumiko: Curse of the Merch Girl and first as a Strange Music signee. After hearing several tracks from the project, the most recent being "Two Step," we've now got a stream of the full thing, which comprises fourteen tracks.

Murs has remained underground for years but continues to make moves in that sphere. Recently we learned the rapper had signed to Tech N9ne's Strange Music label, following which, the West Coast MC revealed he had a joint project coming up with MayDay! aptly titled Mursday. The "Mursday" tour kicks off in Seattle in June, and runs for few dates through out June, with most of the shows taking place in sunny California. Peep the dates below.

It seemed like an odd (or, erm, strange) choice to add Murs to the Strange Music roster. Don't get us wrong, Murs is an absolute veteran in the rap game and Tech N9ne's label has really shaped up into something impressive, but the two artists always seemed so different in their style

 The Strange Music team welcomes a strange new addition to their roster. Along with Tech N9ne himself, Murs joins the ranks of Krizz Kaliko, Rittz, ¡Mayday!, Wrekonize, Kutt Kalhoun and Ces Cru.  Tech N9ne and Murs made the announcement to Sway this morning, with Tech N9ne saying, "we signed a hardcore emcee that can give a mothafuckin’ show."

Whatup, this week's UA is quite solid. Danny Brown's remix of Rich Hil's "Betcha Hate It" may be my favorite off this list though, but Murs and Fashawn link up, as well as Mikkey Haltsed and Pusha T, plus some previously unreleased Pac Div.
