For those unfamiliar, Mr. Flash, AKA Gilles Bousquet, is a French producer/DJ best known for his collaborations with Yasiin Bey (AKA Mos Def), Kanye West, singer/songwriter Sébastien Tellier and French hip-hop collective TTC.
"Number One" is his latest offering, featuring guest verses from Action Bronson, Cities Aviv and Oh No. It'll be included on his upcoming debut album Sonic Crusader, which is slated to drop on June 2nd via Ed Banger Records (hit the iTunes link to the bottom left to pre-order it, if you wish.)
There's definitely a Dilla and/or Madlib influence here, as far as the instrumental goes, and each emcee handles it quite well.
