Mozzy returned with a brand new project yesterday titled, Beyond Bulletproof. The rapper's latest marks his first solo project since 2019's Internal Affairs but it's safe to say that whether he's in a collaborative setting or riding dolo, Mozzy's maintained a high standard when it comes to releasing music.
Beyond Bulletproof starts off strong but perhaps one of the hardest records on the project arrives at track three with "Body Count." Enlisting G Herbo and King Von, Mozzy maintains a West Coast bounce with the bleak soundscape of drill. Manu holds down the production on this one as Mozzy, Herbo, and King Von deliver vivid imagery of the realities of gang warfare in the West and in Chicago.

Quotable Lyrics
I graduated from drive-bys
When I'm on your car, ain't no stoppin' at stop signs
I'm layin' low 'til it die down
Then spin back around and I'm lettin' off some more rounds
I'm who they call when it's bustin'
Can't sit behind me, I don't trust him
Boy, that nigga dead, don't touch him
Roll him in the Wood. same night, we like, 'Fuck him'
