Toronto's Mobolaji has released his intriguing "Tapestry" mixtape.

Mobolaji is a rapper from Toronto who used to go by the name Rufino. Tapestry, released on May 1st, 2014, is his first mixtape under his new name.

With a cover adorned, fittingly, by a medieval tapestry, Tapestry's artwork seems to show Mobolaji's grand aspirations from the get-go. Inside is a tape filled with imaginative production from a roster including Eeema, Bamzy, ZoltonTheGuitar and BeatsByBones. Major respect to whichever one of them decided to flip Nina Simone's "Feeling Good" for standout track "Dawn."

Mobolaji himself also impresses with his lyrical abilities and storytelling, spinning very relatable tales of a struggling artist and up and coming rapper.
