We have yet to hear Rick Ross' direct thoughts on his recent hospitalization. Still, it's good to hear his dominant baritone once again. Today, the Boss comes through for the assist on Mistah Fab's updated version of "Thug Tears." The original version featured Mozzy, De’Marie King, Tirzahx and Frost, and while Mozzy remains intact, Rick Ross and Philthy Rich replace the secondary players with two original verses. Over a soulful piano instrumental, Ross reflects on some of the tribulations he and his loved ones have faced.

"They tried to count me out it's time to multiply, the only time I cry another soldier dies," raps Ross, ad-libbing the name of his fallen manager Black Bo. Overall, the track's updated version is a welcome addition to the Mistah F.A.B. canon. The days of ghost-riding-the-bus may very well be behind him; instead, Fab's newest drop finds the rapper dropping jewels.

Quotable Lyrics

They tried to count me out it's time to multiply,
The only time I cry another soldier dies,
Shoebox full of money try to hold it tight
