We've been waiting on a new Missy Elliott album ever since she heralded her comeback by crashing Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year, and despite no official news of a release date or title, it would appear that we're getting closer. Last night at the ASCAP awards, Timbaland announced that her first single will be arriving shortly, and will be produced by none other than Pharrell.

Of course, you'll remember that Missy tweeted out a photo of her and Skateboard P in the studio back in February, so we've known that he's been involved in the album for a while. Watch Timbaland's announcement below.
