Mark Wahlberg has finished working on Daddy's Home 2 and is back to his obligatory action-packed roles for the upcoming film Mile 22. The trailer sees the behind the scenes happenings and planning for a life-threatening mission carried out by an elite team of CIA agents.
"In a visceral modern thriller from the director of Lone Survivor, Mark Wahlberg stars as James Silva, an operative of the CIA’s most highly-prized and least understood unit," the trailer's description reads. "Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, Silva must retrieve and transport an asset who holds life-threatening information to Mile 22 for extraction before the enemy closes in."
The movie also stars WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey in all her glory. Director Peter Berg is familiar with Mark having worked with him on Lone Survivor, Patriots Day and Deepwater Horizon.
Mile 22 also stars Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais and John Malkovich. The film hits theatres on August 3rd. Check out the full trailer below.
