    Nardwuar Vs. Rae Sremmurd
While in Austin, Texas, Nardwuar was busy getting interviews with some of your favorite artists. It's been a minute since we got a Nardwuar x Rapper interview, but today the famed interviewer drops off one with Rae Sremmurd that went down at SXSW. Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy talk about their Tulepo, Mississippi origins (and get some special Elvis cologne), past jobs "grinding" (you'll need to watch for that explanation), being in an honor band, and how they are not teenagers despite their youthful look.

Mike WiLL Made It Feat. RiFF RAFF & Slim Jxmmy "Choppin Blades" Video
RiFF RAFF teased his used car salesman character in the teaser for "Choppin' Blades," but we hadn't seen anything yet. Almost half the video is dedicated to JODY HiGHROLLER's inspired performance, and it brings the concept of the video from good to great pretty quickly. While the original track bled into the rest of the Ransom tracklist, it's been given new life here, and we wouldn't be surprised if it ended up becoming a hit, since-- let's not forget --RiFF and Slim Jxmmy both kill their verses here as well.

    Noisey's Atlanta Documentary (Ep. 9)
We've taken a look into the lives of many different rappers over the course of Noisey Atlanta rap documentary, but after nine episodes, we're finally seeing how producers bring the scene together. As is pointed out in the doc, beatmakers have more name recognition than ever, partly because they literally insert their names into the beginning of each of their songs with producer tags.

RiFF RAFF Plays A Used Car Salesman In The Trailer For Mike WilLL Made It's "Choppin' Blades"
RiFF RAFF has proved himself as someone who is capable of far more than just rapping. The man who calls himself JODY HiGHROLLER has made plans to become both a professional wrestler and a professional prom date in 2015, it turns out he would make a pretty damn good used car salesman as well. RiFF gets his acting game on in the trailer for Mike WiLL Made It's "Choppin' Blades", which much like "23" seems to have a pretty conceptual music video behind it. We're not sure when we'll see the whole clip, but we know it'll be one to remember.

Rae Sremmurd have one of the top producers in the game for a boss, which definitely brings them a few advantages when it comes to getting beats. Last night, iLoveMakonnen appeared as a special guest at a stacked CMJ show in NYC that featured Dreezy, Audio Push, Father, Key!, Sonny Digital, Mike WiLL Made It and Rae Sremmurd. Coincidentally (or not) it was a Tuesday, and thusly Makonnen was prompted to perform "Tuesday," but one audience member in particular clearly wasn't having it. In the video above, you can see a hooded audience member feign reaching out for daps with the ATL singer, but then pull him down and attempt to beat him. Luckily, the staff at SOB's was on hand to break things up very quickly.

That's the case for Rae Sremmurd, a young duo originally from Mississippi whose "No Flex Zone" is currently doing big things.  They visited Bootleg Kev's studio in Tampa recently to discuss their success and signing to Mike WiLL Made It's "Ear Drummers" record label (which, in case you didn't notice, is their name, backwards).
