Listen To Young Dolph's Debut Album, "King Of Memphis"
Young Dolph has been grinding for years, but more recently he's found himself with a considerable regional following and a few breakout hits. After consistently dropping mixtapes, it seems like the right time for Dolph to come through with his first album, which he's releasing independently. King Of Memphis has the rapper teaming with mostly Atlanta producers, with Mike WiLL Made It, TM88, Zaytoven, Nard & B, and Drumma Boy contributing.
Ebro Gets Into Twitter Feud With Mike Will & Slim Jxmmi Over Beyonce's "Formation"
Today's biggest event was the unveiling of Beyoncé's new single and accompanying video, "Formation." Shortly after its release, it was revealed that the song was produced by Mike Will Made-It as well as Ear Drummers producer Apluss and that it was co-written by Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd.
Drake Poses For Photo With Gucci Mane: "That Ain't No Clone"
Most conspiracy theories go by without a need to be addressed, but Gucci Mane is not your average dude. The Atlanta rapper, who was released from prison after 3 years last month, decided to have fun with a Twitter theory that the Gucci that came home from the pen was actually a government clone. "I will neither support nor deny those accusations," he joked on SnapChat.

The tracklist for Gucci Mane's Everybody Looking has been made available courtesy of Amazon. The album comprises of 14 songs with features from Kanye West and Young Thug.
Young Thug's Most Entertaining Lyrics
You might be thinking "Here we go, yet another dissection into the enigma that is Young Thug." But that's just the thing with Thugger. At surface value he may appear to be an overly flamboyant, drug fueled nonsense rapper, but it seems that the further we dig into his releases and their lyrics, the more bountiful they seem.
Big Sean Previews New Music With Future, Metro Boomin & Mike WiLL Made-It
Big Sean scored the biggest album of his career with 2015's Dark Sky Paradise, but from the sounds of his upcoming material, he's only just getting started. Sean was in L.A. last night for Red Bull Sound Select, and made sure to treat the audience to some samples of his new music. First up, he shared a preview of a track with Future and his go-to producer Metro Boomin, a recipe for success on paper, and judging by the video clip, also in practice.
Lil Wayne Shares "Sh!t" Freestyle Snippet, Full Track Dropping Today
Lil Wayne's Carter V may be in Cash Money limbo, but his Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape is coming together as promised. Mack Maine shared two clips of a new freestyle from Weezy last night, indicating that the tape was one track away from completion.
Future Announces "Dirty Sprite 2" Mixtape
There isn't a whole lot of consensus in the Future mixtape canon (namely because there are so many, and pretty much all of them are good), but Dirty Sprite is generally agreed upon as a strong contender for the Atlanta rapper's best non-album work. Early fans will be excited to hear the news that Fewtch is working on a follow-up to the beloved project, announcing the news on Twitter today.
Review: Young Thug's "Slime Season 3"
The first two installments of Young Thug's Slime Season series arrived a little over a month apart last fall, providing a good display of both Thugger's speed in the studio and his versatility.
Zaytoven Confirms Drake Feature On Future's "Beast Mode 16"
Drake has been hyping up this current summer season ever since wintertime, dropping his "Summer Sixteen" single at the end of January. At the end of April, he announced a "Summer Sixteen" tour with his WATTBA collaborator Future. The joint tour kicks off later this month month, and indeed, Drake has already dropped off more than enough music to soundtrack the summer. VIEWS is still the No. 1 album in the country -- for the ninth week in a row -- and "One Dance" is still the No. 1 song.
Review: Rae Sremmurd's "SremmLife"
2014 may be remembered as one of the weakest years for rap in recent memory, but there were, however, some definite highlights, especially when it came to newcomers. Bobby Shmurda had one of last year’s biggest rap records, DeJ Loaf had one of last year’s most remixed rap records and Young Thug was one of last year’s most talked about rap artists (even if for all of the wrong reasons).
Forbes' 2015 "Hip-Hop Cash Princes" Include Migos, Young Thug, YG & More
Since 2007, Forbes has been profiling young rappers who are making major cash money. Each year, the magazine chooses a list of "Cash Princes" who they think could eventually become "Cash Kings", a more exclusive list that includes industry moguls like Diddy, Jay Z, and Dr. Dre. This year's Cash Princes are: Mike Will Made-It, Migos, Rae Sremmurd, DJ Mustard, Young Thug, Nipsey Hussle, Iggy Azalea, Ty Dolla $ign, Hit-Boy, YG, PartyNextDoor, and Kid Ink.
Mike Will Made-It Angrily Responds To New Future Leaks
Many were overjoyed to find two new Future leaks posted onto just about every hip-hop site, including this one, last night. Mike Will Made-It, who's assumed to have produced at least one of those leaks, was not.
Mike WiLL Made It Reveals Rae Sremmurd's "SremmLife 2" Is In The Works
Rae Sremmurd's SremmLife was a perfectly orchestrated album release in a broken system. While most rappers wait months or even years beyond the peak of their hype to drop their debut, the Sremm Bros were right on the money, and as a result, the album is still selling to this day (the fact that it was jam-packed with singles didn't hurt). While they've surely got a few more records to market from LP1, the follow-up is already underway according to mentor, Mike WiLL Made it.
Rae Sremmurd Say "SremmLife 2" Is Coming Soon
Rae Sremmurd kicked off last year with the release of their debut album, which has made it's way onto many a year-end list, perhaps to the ire of Ebro. Nonetheless it's hard to deny the album had hits/bangers in basically every song on it.
More Details Emerge On Kanye West's New, Less "Abrasive" Album
The latest clue we got about Kanye West's upcoming album came courtesy of a Florence, Italy newspaper, in which West was interviewed saying that the album was "made in Florence." Yesterday, Billboard pulled together some new sources to give us a better idea of what to expec
Stream Gucci Mane's "Trap God 3"
After momentarily hitting a stumbling block with Big Gucci Sosa, the collaborative tape with Chief Keef that was never released, Gucci Mane returns to his impeccably on-time release schedule for 2014. After already releasing 10 projects this year, big GuWop is prepared to drop Trap God 3, predictably, on 10/17.
Red Lobster Responds To Beyonce's "Formation"
Beyoncé's new single, and accompanying video, is bold and unapologetically black. Due to her celebrity, she may only be able to dine at the most exclusive of 5-star restaurants these days, though on "Formation," she reminded fans of her Southern-fried roots. "When he fuck me good I take his ass to Red Lobster," sings Bey on the opening verse, in what's become the song's most talked about lyric.
Gucci Mane's "Everybody Looking" (Review)
I didn't listen to each and every one of the 32 projects Gucci Mane released during his three year stint in federal prison, but I can say that of the 15 or so I am familiar with, none have anything approaching how heavy the majority of his first post-prison release is. Gucci had a ton of material lying around when he went away, most of it relatively close in character to what he was doing on 2013's uneven State Vs. Radric Davis II project, and none of it reflecting his mental state behind bars.
Mike WiLL Made It Calls Out Rappers Who Are Copying Swae Lee's Style
Mike WiLL Made It's imprint, Ear Drummers, has already proven a success with the likes of Rae Sremmurd and Two-9. Rae Sremmurd have undoubtedly elevated higher than Two-9 off the bat, however, Two-9 are catching up with hits like "Check At." In the meantime though, the squeaky-voiced and energetic rappers of Rae Sremmurd, Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy, have cemented a new style and flow, and thus they are seeing imitators pop up everywhere.
