Detroit veteran Obie Trice just dropped off his comeback album, The Hangover, and just a day later, he's back with a new guest spot. Trice comes through with a verse on Mike G's latest track, "Warmup," which is again produced by his frequent collaborator (and former Odd Future cohort) Left Brain.
Somewhat confusingly shouting out OF within the track's first seconds, Mike G continues on through the heavy-lidded, locked-in flow that's become his calling card. Left Brain keeps it minimal on the production side, opting for wonky synths and a tom-heavy beat. Despite both of their stellar performances, Trice's second half verse is the sure highlight here.
