Odd Future's Mike G returned from a long slumber last month with the certifiably great, Pouya and Denzel Curry-assisted "B.M.B," and now he's shared a second track from his upcoming project. Entitled "November," this one seems to have arrived one day late.
A BigCatMusic-produced joint, "November" is blunted and atmospheric, coming out sounding much more subdued than its predecessor, which among other things, had Curry's diamond-sharp verse pepping things up. This one's much more in-line with Mike G's existing niche in OFWGKTA as the heavy-lidded, always-blazed philosopher. That said, his bars are fairly quickly rattled off, and insightful in their pyramid-related hypothesizing.
