Run the Jewels is back with a new remix. This time they flip "Heart Is Full" by Miike Snow, the electronic pop project collaboration between Swedish producers Bloodshy & Avant and American singer/songwriter/producer Andrew Wyatt. Killer Mike & El-P spit a verse apiece of the a beat heavily inflected with horns and soul samples, which give the whole thing a worldly, old-school feel.
"The moment Killer Mike launched into his verse, Emile and I couldn’t stop smiling," Wyatt told FADER. "He had found that flow, the rhythm to his lines that was undeniable, the flow which was so huge as to transcend any trendiness in music and just be monolithically awesome. El-P continued riding that same vein – and it’s like a sledgehammer."
