The Music Of Donald Glover's "Atlanta"
FX's "Atlanta" has taken TV by storm this fall, debuting to 3 million viewers in September, locking down a second season, and propelling its creator/actor Donald Glover into even greater multi-disciplinary fame. Previously a screenwriter, comedian, actor, and rapper, Glover has added the showrunner feather to his cap, and the resulting show bears more of his fingerprints than any of his previous TV endeavors (most notable among them "30 Rock" and "Community").

The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of September 2016
Earlier this year, HNHH launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop and R&B.

The week before Labor Day brought us some nice late summer treats in the form of Travis Scott's Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, Isaiah Rashad's The Sun's Tirade, and Fabolous' Summertime Shootout 2. Of those, Scott's album was definitely the most feverishly anticipated, thanks to some delays as well as his substantial fanbase, and that popularity shows in this week's edition of Top Tracks. Scott leads the pack with three appearances, but oddly enough, none as a lead artist.

Young Thug's "No, My Name Is Jeffery" (Review)
Some artists pay homage to their idols with covers albums, Young Thug does it with No, My Name Is Jeffery, an album that actually features two of the heroes he names, but not on the tracks named after them. The fact that Wyclef Jean and Gucci Mane are both on the album but don't appear on the tracks "Wyclef Jean" or "Guwop" describes Young Thug's songwriting style in a nutshell: he'll name tracks "Picacho" and "Quaterback," but he sure as hell won't devote more than one line to either Pokémon or football.

Quavo Calls Out DJ Drama For Not Mentioning Migos Among Top ATL Influencers
During his recent interview with The Breakfast Club, DJ Drama spoke on the enduring strength of the Atlanta hip-hop scene, naming some of the city's most influential artists past and present, albeit with one glaring omission. "If we take the OutKast’s, the Ludacris’s, the T.I.’s, the Jeezy’s, and the Gucci’s, and the Future’s, and the Chainz’s, and the Thug’s, you know, it’s in a good place,” said Drama.

Rich is a true hustler. He knows what he wants (money) and he'll stop at nothing to get it. Click through the gallery to listen 10 of Rich's best songs.

I'm not going to take the time to crunch all of the numbers for the 28 weeks of 2016 we've experienced thus far, but in terms of artists who show up most often in our weekly top ten tracks list, it's not even close. Drake is the clear victor, seeming to find a way on here every week. Second place is a little more murky.
