Mick Jenkins's The Water[s] was a 2014 mixtape of the year candidate, and with his freshly minted EP Wave[s] he continues to explore the theme of water and develop his unique style that he refers to as "art trap."
Today Jenkins drops off the video for EP single "Get Up Get Down," featuring three high schoolers wearing Adidas tracksuits and dancing their way through the streets of Chicago. "'Get Up' is a charge to get out and do something," Mick explained. "To make people put action behind their words. Thats what the kids are doing in the video and I hope it comes across and be understood that way."
