After a man was killed backstage at a Wiz KHalifa show last weekend, Michigan State University has decided to cancel the rapper's concert there scheduled for September 13th.
Although it's pretty clear at this point that police are not investigating Wiz Khalifa in regards to the fatal shooting that occurred backstage at his "Under The Influence" tour last weekend, the event will have repercussions for the Taylor Gang boss. That became apparent today when Michigan State University announced the cancellation of a Wiz Khalifa concert scheduled to take place on campus on September 13th.
Due to a ”review of recent events and assessment of campus concerns,” according to the Hattiesburg American, the school has nixed the upcoming concert, and is issuing refunds to students. It's pretty clear what "recent events" they're referring to.
Jeezy is still in custody for the possession of an automatic weapon, which police found in his tour bus the day after the shooting.
