That Michelle Obama rap album with Iman Shumpert never became a reality. But she is still willing to bless the mic with her white hot bars, so long as it comes in service of her education initiative.
The FLOTUS has teamed up with CollegeHumor and noted Barack Obama impersonator Jay Pharaoh of SNL to assemble what is possibly the hottest track of 2015, "Go To College."
Joined on the White House lawn by Jay Pharaoh, Michelle comes out guns blazing in the 2nd verse. “Southside Chicago, we all know, we had to do overtime every night to make it tomorrow,”she raps. “And everyone could really make their dream true. Hey, kid listenin’ in Michigan that could be you!”
Aside from the fact the Michelle broke the cardinal rule of hip hop -- never rhyme "college" with "knowledge" -- she wasn't half bad.
