LaVar Ball was back in the news today, blaming UCLA's white players as the reason his son's team couldn't get passed Kentucky in the Sweet 16.
Specifically, LaVar told the Southern California News Group,
“Realistically you can’t win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow.”
“I told Lonzo - ‘One of these games you might need to go for 30 or 40 points.’ It turned out that was the one game. Then once they get to the Elite 8, they’re right there.”
He has since said his comments "are not racial" and that he was simply stating a "realistic fact," but that's not going to stop people from calling him out, including actor/director/comedian/podcast host etc. Michael Rapaport.
Mike Rap took to instagram this morning to call out LaVar and to tell the Ball patriarch, "those Big Baller Brand tee shirts look uncomfortable as fuck."
