Will Marcus Jordan's dad let him stock anything except Jordan Brand?
Michael Jordan’s son may not have succeeded in following his father’s footsteps to the NBA, but he still has the sneaker industry to fall back on. Marcus Jordan has been prepping his sneaker store “Trophy Room” for a while now, and has just announced its grand opening date.
Trophy Room will open on May 23 of this year. The chosen date is an homage to Marcus and Michael Jordan’s respective jersey numbers. The release is accompanied by an atmospheric promo video. The store is located at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, specifically in the Disney Springs retail area. Pretty solid for a first retail location, although when your father is Michael Jordan you can get some looks.
The store will surely be stocking the most exclusive and rare Air Jordans, especially since Jordan Brand has almost no brick and mortar stores of their own. The real question is, will they have adidas?
