Meyhem Lauren is preparing a new project which will feature legendary NY producer Buckwild behind the boards, and today he's shared a new track from the project, "Street Hop".
The song, which once again roots itself in a nostalgic east coast sound, samples Nas' classic record "Made Ya Look", flipping a clip from the hook.
Keeping with the New York tribute, Lauren recruits two up-and-coming local emcees for the occasion. Recent XXL Freshman Troy Ave, and RetcH join the rapper on the record, each delivering memorable verses.
Silk Pyramids is due out May 27th. Look out for more leaks before then.
