Meek Mill's BET afterparty in Hollywood brought out a good chunk of the LAPD.
Police were taking no chances with BET afterparties this year. In what was likely a reaction to a shooting at an event following the awards in 2014, cops came were in abundance outside of Meek Mill's party last night.
TMZ reports that a gaggle of cops showed up, both in cars and helicopters, shortly after the rapper's party hit capacity at around 12 AM. While a couple of party-goers were booked for disorderly conduct, the police presence didn't interfere with Meek's gathering at Playhouse Hollywood all that much. However, eyewitnesses claimed to have seen YG turned away from the doors when he opted out of a pat-down.
