Meek Mill has plans to donate $10k to his old high school in Philadelphia, which is being proposed for closure.
Meek Mill is giving back to his hometown in a big way. The Philly native is reported to be donating the sum of $10,000 to his alma mater, Strawberry Mansion High School.
Philly.com reports (via HHDX) that Meek is donating 10k along with basketball shoes to his former high school. The shoe donation is connected to his endorsement deal with Puma, which he signed back in August.
Strawberry Mansion is one of eight high schools in Philly that will be potentially be shut down-- so hopefully this donation goes a long way into preventing that from happening.
Meek is currently on probation, and was recently denied travel privileges.
