Get introduced to Mckinley Ave, a promising new talent from Watts, L.A., with his new single "No Regular." With G-funk-inspired melodic rapping, he keeps in the tradition of his hometown sound, but he is also able to switch up into a more southern tempo, as evidenced on the hook.

There's a similar mix of sounds on the production, which is a joint effort between South Central producer Mike Free and DJ Fu of Mike Will's Ear Drummers camp. "No Regular" also features RJ, who's established himself as one of the most consistent young emcees in the L.A. area.

The track is the first single off Mckinley Ave's upcoming project, which is set to feature Migos, Nipsey Hussle, Young Dolph, and more.

Quotable Lyrics

I'm rollin' down the highway, and guess what I see?
Guess what I see? When I'm lookin' through the rear-view
My whole hood behind me, my hood behind me
I got the weight on the world on my shoulder I can't take it lightly
So I hope that you don't take it the wrong way if I don't get excited
That regular shit don't excite me
