The Golden State Warriors will play host to the Sacramento Kings tonight in what will surely be a bloodbath at Oracle Arena. At least, that's what former Kings forward Matt Barnes is hoping for.
Barnes, who was released by the Kings last month during the DeMarcus Cousins trade, told reporters that he's trying to kill his former team tonight because "things didn't go well there."
He further explained to the Sacramento Bee,
"It was frustrating because being back home and really taking pride in trying to put that team back on the map, and then just in a day's time you're no longer a part of the organization," Barnes told the Sacramento Bee. "It was kind of a rude awakening."
So now he wants to beat them by 50.
