In a stroke of branded content genius, Marvel is planning to release 50 reimaginations of classic rap album covers as comic book covers featuring characters from the Marvel universe.

They recently released a set of reimagined covers for 50 Cent, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Notorious B.I.G., & A$AP Rocky; now Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso continues with a new batch, remixing Nas' Illmatic, The Roots' Illadelph Halflife, and Pete Rock & CL Smooth's Mecca & The Soul Brother.

This is probably the highest compliment a rapper can be paid. The rest of the fifty covers are slated for release in October, what rap albums do you want to see next?

Check out the new covers in the gallery above and as GIFs below.
