Mariah Carey's flu required emergency treatment.
Mariah Carey was hospitalized last night following an appearance at a Pier 1 event, according to TMZ. The singer was said to be experiencing severe flu symptoms, which led to extreme dehydration.
Things started get serious after an the Pier 1 event (which she's said to have been paid $300,000 for), causing her team to recommend emergency treatment.
Last we heard Mariah was still in the hospital, but was doing much better and is likely to be released later today. She's hoping to be back at 100% for her performance this Saturday at HOT 97's "Hot For The Holidays" concert.
Meanwhile, we're still waiting on new music because that last album was low-key fire.
