We've seen veteran rappers really bring back the freestyle game this year, and Brooklyn's Maino is happy to partake, spending long nights in the booth dropping heat over classic instrumentals. Unlike those DJ Clue-hosted freestyles of fellow BK don Fabolous, who only rapped over New York records for his #FridayNightFreestyles series, Maino is happy to experiment with different regional hits. Maino has dropped two new freestyles in the past week, over beats originally belonging to Dr. Dre and Eminem, respectively. Now he's back rapping over another West Coast classic, 2Pac's "Picture Me Rollin."
You better come correct if you're gonna take on one of Pac's greatest tunes, and Maino does just that. The new freestyle comes about a month after Maino's King of Brooklyn 3 mixtape, which featured guests like Kevin Gates and the late, great Chinx. Download the tape right here.
