We've seen this rappers freestyle over Prodigy's famed "Keep It Thoro," before - some of a very high pedigree. Maino keeps the trend alive by adding his freestyle iteration over the beat.
It's a bold move, but boldness goes perfectly in line with Maino's modus operandi. Indeed, the rapper is set to release his "King of Brooklyn" EP in just a few days. Considering how highly he's regarded among fellow Brooklyn-ites, the self-proclaimed title maybe not as far-fetched as it seems.
Of course, if this song doesn't curb your appetite whilst waiting until Feb. 4th for his new EP, perhaps the title track can.
