XXL Freshman Madeintyo may have hit mass exposure through his breakout, viral hit "Uber Everywhere," but many stayed for the rapper's unique, well-traveled history. The Atlanta based rhymer developed a unique worldview, having spent time in Hawaii, New York, San Diego, Virginia, New York and Tokyo, devloping a keen admiration for the latter's culture in particular. Hence the name, a derivation of "Made in Tokyo." Now, the globetrotting emcee has come through with his latest project, the short and sweet True's World.

An ode to his son, True, True's World features an adorably dope album cover, calling back to the classic cartoon style of the nineties. While the album is officially set to drop tomorrow, The Fader has hooked up an early stream, along with a detailed statement about the project from it's author:

"This EP is for my fans, I wouldn't be here without them. “True's World is special to me because it was inspired by my son — my biggest collab this year was making him with my fiancé distortedd. And it felt great to work so closely with my brother, 24hrs — I gotta thank him for helping me put True's World together. I hope all my fans enjoy the new vibe & growth."

As for the music, True's World finds Madeintyo spitting bars over some whimsical, trap-inspired production. The introductory cut, the titular "True's World," immediately sets the album's tone, and Madeintyo gets personal with references to distortedd and his expanding family. The production continues to be a highlight, with contributions from DWN2EARTH, Yada Yada, FKi 1st, and Madeintyo himself. If you're interested in seeing what one of the more well-traveled XXL Freshman is capable of, take the twenty-odd minutes to live with True's World.

Stream the project in advance now, and be sure to support when it drops officially tomorrow.
