Macklemore responds to an impatient fan by revealing that he'll drop a follow-up to "The Heist" this year.

For many rap fans, that fact that Macklemore isn't up for any Grammys this February is a good thing (although, warning: Iggy Azalea might wipe the smirks off your faces), but by next year's ceremony, it's looking like there might be another project from him and Ryan Lewis for the judges to laud with praise and trophies. Yesterday morning, Macklemore gave a revealing response to a fan pining for a new album.

The biggest takeaway here, other than the fact that Macklemore is co-opting Birdman's catchphrase, is that anyone else releasing hip-hop albums this year is now officially a long-shot to win a Grammy.
