With MGK's latest album bloom. having dropped this morning, fans are still taking time to digest the project. While the vibe fluctuates between hip-hop, country, and pop, MGK is most proficient at tackling the former. "Golden God" is a treat for those disappointed in his recent commercial singles, and rest assured, MGK proves he can still go in when he wants to.

Over a distorted vocal sample and trap drums, MGK flexes with a rapid-fire, swaggering flow. While the title may imply a comparison with the famously benevolent Buddha, Kelly is anything but soft on this one. Dude calls himself the David Bowie of this generation, and while that claim may be far from true, at least he's making the comparison on his album's hardest track.

Quotable Lyrics

This beat so flame, though, I forgot to say my name, though
Bitch, I'm G-U-double N-A, Gunna
Never like my mother, fighter, not a lover
Man, I'm wildin' every summer
I ain't like my daddy, he religious
I'm with bitches burning rubber
