In August 5,1993 in Pittsburg Kansas, a young rapper was born. His name was Jesse Blake Owen aka Lyricco. He was exposed to hip-hop music at a very young age. 2pac as his inspiration he started listening and understanding the lyrics as early as 5 years old and it impacted him greatly from that day on. He has always had a love for music whether it being spiritually or deeply emotionally. He came up with the name "Lyricco" from his brother that died at birth named "Reecco.” The death of his baby brother dying and effected him and made him wake up to real life and want to pursue hip-hop music. He wanted his music to mean something to people when they heard it so he wanted “Lyric” as his rap name, so he combined them and that’s how “Lyricco” was made. He knew at age 11 he wanted to be in the music business no matter what it took. He started writing lyrics in class everyday in school, but had no beats and nothing to record on but he didn’t give up. once he got in high school his school offered laptops to the students to do their work on. He could finally record what he had on his new laptop finally get his lyrics out. At age 16 a “Deuces Remix” by Chris brown was the first song he recorded and began starting a mixtape called “The Genesis” meaning this is just the beginning; there is a long road ahead of him to make music. He now knows this is exactly what he wants in his life. He will never look back.
