The ULT family is on the rise. Last week, Yoshi Thompkins dropped off Black Jesus. Now, producer Lord LuCN has added his name to the pantheon of rising Florida talent with The U Album. Previously released drops like ""Zeltron Takeover," "A.S.S," and "Bipolar" gave insight into the surface of LuCN's talent, but we had no idea what the young talent had been sitting on.

Having earned the trust of some of Florida's most promising young lyricists, from the Aquarius Killa himself Denzel Curry (who features on an abundance of U Album cuts) to J.K The Reaper (who previously delivered straight fire on last year's "Locations"), LuCN's sonic arsenal is well varied. From the more sample-based instrumentation on "Zeltron Takeover" to the trap-inspirations of "Whisper," LuCN is a man with something to prove. He even comes through with a sinister, string driven instrumental on the year's most unexpected diss track: J.K The Reaper's "Fuck Talib Kweli."

The project doubles as a showcase of the ULT family's roster, with contributions from Anna Wise, Deniro Farrar, Yoshi Thompkins, Leaf, Nyyjerya, and more. Be sure to keep an eye out for LuCN's name; there's no doubt he'll be holding it down on many future ULT endeavors.
