The Outfit TX are a trio making a lot of noise out Dallas for their brand of sinister Texas rap. Each member can carry out a variety of flows, but they specialize in slower back and forths, sounding at once restrained and menacing, retaining a careful sense of melody amid all the irreverence. On their new single, "Look Into My Eyes," they find the perfect collaborator in Stunt N Dozier, the Dallas production duo who recently crafted a banger for H-Town's BeatKing.
"Look Into My Eyes" is suited for late nights, when there are few thoughts on the brain, all of them dirty. The trio concocts a lusty bedroom scene, and the hook consists of the repetition of the track's title -- "look into my eyes," said as though those eyes contain pure evil. It's a beautifully sordid track off the trio's upcoming mixtape, Green Lights: Everythang Goin.
