Lonzo Ball has just unveiled a completely redesigned version of the Big Baller Brand ZO2 Prime, dubbed the ZO2 Prime Remix, which he will be wearing in his rookie NBA season.
In an exclusive video with Slam Magazine, Lonzo introduced the ZO2 Prime Remix which he says is “the lightest basketball shoe ever made.” Similar to the way Big Baller Brand introduced LaMelo Ball's "Melo Ball 1" signature shoe, the newest video reveal features Lonzo rapping in the background.
Lonzo first debuted the $495 Big Baller Brand ZO2 Prime back in May but the kicks got very little court-time during the NBA Summer League as the 19-year old point guard rotated his signature shoes out in favor of others from Nike, Adidas and Under Armour.
According to Slam, pre-orders for the newly unveiled Remix version of the Big Baller Brand ZO2 Prime will start today, with the four other colorways, including a Lakers rendition, expected to be unveiled within the next few weeks. Lonzo and the Los Angeles Lakers will kick off their NBA preseason schedule next Saturday, September 30th against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which is when you can expect the first on-court look at the revamped ZO2 Prime. The Lakers will open up the 2017 NBA regular season at home against the Clippers on Thursday, October 19th.
