Harlem-bred battle rapper and emcee Loaded Lux has fired off into a new track in the form of "Ain't Gon Hold Ya," and has tapped fellow rapper Joey Bada$$ and singer Rasheeda Wallace to hop on the cut.
The music video takes place in the studio as the trio bounces ideas off one another and even takes a break midway as Joey, in his true nature, drops off snippets of knowledge in a conversation.
"This is the best time to start when you ain't got no real world responsibilities. You ain't got to worry about paying bills and shit. Now, you're tryna chase your dream. Chase your dreams while you in school," Jo asserts. "Chase your dreams earlier. Niggas be tryna make us go to scchool and then chase our dream. Nah, soon as you got it--a hint of what you want to do, go for it, while you young because you got all the time to fuck up."
"But not only that," he continues. "You got more time to focus on it. Because you ain't worried about school. You just got bills and then you got your dream. That's it."
"Ain't gon Hold Ya" appears on Lux's latest Talk Dirty Vol. 1 full-length project, which features further appearances from the likes of DJ Kay Slay and Vado.
