Lloyd Banks is one of the most consistent rappers in the game, and he's got longevity too, but he's also one of the most lowkey. He's not out here like his G-Unit partner 50 Cent trolling and looking for limelight. When he finally comes out of hiding to release music, it's usually an event, at least for his cult following, among which I count myself, shout out me.

After a long wait, the raspy-voiced New York native dropped off his All Or Nothing: Live It Up mixtape, a sequel to 2013's Failure's No Option. The project maintains Banks' unique soundscape, with assistance from go-to producers like Doe Pesci and Tha Jerm, or on this particular song, Mr. Authentic. Rounding up fellow New Yorkers Prodigy and Vado, Banks goes in over a string heavy beat complete with piano keys and snare drums.

Quotable Lyrics

I been on my own getting money since 16
I've been very constant, I don't do weak 16s, yeah yeah
My verse is a weapon, my voice get her attention
And when she put her eyes on me she be on a mission
Tryna show she the one for me, prove it to me baby
