Lizzo got strategic with her wig while she announced her Juneteenth raffle and silent auction, using her floor-length locks to cover her explicit parts and grab everyone's attention for this worthy cause. In celebration of Juneteenth, a historic Black holiday that honours the day the last enslaved Americans in Texas were finally freed, Lizzo is holding a silent auction and raffle. The proceeds will go toward Black-owned businesses and organizations that benefit the Black community. The singer made the announcement on Instagram, using only her silky black tresses to censor her nudity.
"Happy Juneteenth, y’all," she begins. "This year, we’re doing Juneteenth in a major way. Not only are we celebrating a Black American holiday, but I’m holding a silent auction and a raffle, so we can give back to Black organizations and businesses specifically in the Twin Cities."

The clip then dramatically cuts to a different, close-up shot of Lizzo, at which point she continues her message by instructing her followers once again to visit her website in order to “celebrate Juneteenth by giving back to Black."
"Over the last few weeks, the world took to the streets after the senseless death of George Floyd," Lizzo's statement reads. "We all watched as Minneapolis shook the world and I knew I had to do something to help the city that I love and started my career in. Protest has many lanes. I’ve been listening and educating myself on the ways someone in my position can help bring equality and justice for my community." A message on the website indicates that donations will specifically go towards the Minneapolis Sanctuary Movement, Black Church Food Security Network, Black Women Speak, and HeadCount. Contributors to the silent auction include Missy Elliott, Janelle Monae and Tracee Ellis Ross.
