This is not Young Dro's first song called "Bad Bitch," and judging by his success rate with the concept so far, it's hopefully not his last. The original "Bad Bitch" appeared on Young Dro's underrated 2013 project High Times, and the new one, which is in no way related, appears on the Atlanta rapper's new tape Day 3 with DJ Drama.
The track features production from Nard & B, who like Dro, are one of the most consistent acts out of Atlanta, but still somehow remain underrated. The gently melodic key line brings out some technical but very catchy bars from Dro, as well as a surprisingly soulful hook. This is Dro's second full-length of 2017, following Da Real Atlanta released in October. It's one of many projects released on Black Friday, and despite flying under the radar, one of the best.
