Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, & Jeremih link up on "2Nite."

We've been waiting all day for Dre to consecrate a legit version of "2Nite" feat. Kendrick Lamar and Jeremih. Doesn't look like that'll happen anytime soon, and a song of this magnitude cannot be ignored long, so here it is!!

"2Nite" features some vintage Dre production, combining acoustic drum kit with ethereal synths. Dre and Kendrick each take a verse, and interpolated throughout are Jeremih's vocals, twirling through the mix like double helix wisps of smoke. Kendrick's voice sounds significantly younger which suggests that they recorded this song at least a couple years ago, perhaps about the time that Dre/Kendrick Beats By Dre commercial aired.

Any Dre leak is exciting news, giving new life to the idea he will one day actually come out with a third album. Hope springs eternal.

Stream "2Nite" below.
