Looking at the features on Lil Yachty's "All Around Me," you'd expect a bouncy West Coast slapper. Looking at the production credits, you'd think it would be a trunk-rattling trap anthem. However you may feel about the teenage rapper, one thing you can't call Yachty is predictable. On the Teenage Emotions highlight, Lil Boat summons an ethereal synth jam from Lex "Hard In Da Paint" Luger, complimenting the lush groove with a bright auto-tuned hook. He also gets Kamaiyah and YG to turn the energy down and come with some nuanced melodies. The result is one of the most undeniable moments on the rapper's debut.
