Lil Xan has had himself a pretty miserable year. The rising star was enjoying the amount of press he was getting near the start of 2018 as he capitalized on the success of his "Betrayed" single. The young Californian was criticized heavily for the comments he made about Tupac, which dragged behind him for months following the controversial interview. On top of that, his album was the subject of harsh interpretation. All of this combined with the hate he's gotten and the recent loss of his idol Mac Miller caused him to announce his retirement from music last week. Whether or not he'll stay true to his word is yet to be determined but the video that he said would never see the light of day has actually been released.
XXL unearthed the official video, which was uploaded to neither Xan or Noah Cyrus' pages, for "Live or Die." The two moved at a quick pace, releasing a couple's duet just weeks after getting together. Diego said after they broke up that the video would never be released but alas, here we are.
The clip, uploaded to a page belonging to "Mxgnx," shows Xan and Noah enjoying each other's company. Lots of cuddling and affectionate moments are captured in what must be a difficult video for both parties to watch now. It's unclear if this means anything about the status of Lil Xan's musical career as it hasn't even been a week since he said he would no longer be making music.
