Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V is still at the top of our minds but the rapper's forthcoming festival might put his recording plans on hold for the weekend. For the fourth year in a row, Lil Wayne will host his annual festival in his hometown of New Orleans. This festival will be even more special this year because 2018 marks 10 years since the release of his album, Tha Carter III. He's already announced some of the openers but it looks like he had one more rapper he had to tap to bless the stage.

Lil Wayne announced that Jeezy will be touching the stage at Lil Weezyana Festival this year. The rapper already tapped Tory Lanez and Youngboy Never Broke Again will also be performing at the festival. For anyone who won't be able to physically attend, you could still check out the festivities online. TIDAL will be exclusively livestreaming tomorrow's festivities.

After announcing Jeezy as a newly added special guest, the rapper shared a trailer for the festival which revealed that it will be a celebration to commemorate the release of Tha Carter III. Aside from the previously mentioned openers, Lil Wayne also tapped Neno Calvin, Jay Jones, Vice Versa and Stephanie Acevedo to touch the stage as well.

Aside from Lil Weezyana Fest, Lil Wayne's highly anticipated Tha Carter V seems to be coming soon, according to recent spottings. The rapper was seen possibly shooting the cover for the album and shortly after, he was spotted shooting a new music video.
