Lil Wayne is about to give the gift that keeps on giving, his long-awaited Dedication 6 mixtape. After months and even years of anticipation, the DJ Drama-hosted tape is finally dropping tomorrow on Christmas Day, but before it arrives, Weezy has gone ahead and shared the official tracklist ahead of time, giving us an idea of what to expect.
Laced with 15 tracks in total, the 6th installment in his Dedication series will feature guest appearances from several of his Young Money artists, including Nicki Minaj, Euro, Gudda Gudda, Cory Gunz, Hoody Baby, Baby E, and even O.T. Genasis. From what we can see via the song titles, Wayne looks to be tackling songs like Pnb Rock’s “Everyday We Lit,” Rich The Kid’s “New Freezer” song with Kendrick Lamar and even “Xo Tour Life” from Lil Uzi Vert.
We already heard Wayne jump on 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” & Jay Z’s “The Story Of OJ,” which he dubbed “Blackin Out” earlier this week. As for the Drake collaboration that was rumored to possibly go down, that doesn’t look to be happening unfortunately, but that was probably a stretch to begin with.
In addition to this tracklist that was revealed, news surfaced earlier today that Dedication 6 might be a two-part release. In fact, Wayne said earlier in the week that Mac & Tez were splitting up Dedication because he had so many songs recorded, and that more music was coming after Christmas. However, that hasn't been confirmed since so who knows what will happen now, but just know plenty of new music from Lil Wayne is coming soon.
