Lil Wayne wanted to go to the NBA's Western Conference Semi-Finals in Oklahoma City, but wasn't able to make it, although stories explaining why are conflicting.

Weezy tweeted last night, "Was going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow. Smh. Go Spurs!"

Thunder responded to Lil Wayne's accusations that he was "denied by the team" to see the playoff game. A team rep, Dan Mahoney, told AP  that a rep for Lil Wayne did contact them regarding them game, however, he insisted on courtside seats, none of which were available."We'd love to have him at a game, but like anyone else, he needs a ticket," Mahoney said.

Mack Maine, on the other hand, told MTV that he tried to get tickets through a broker, however he was told they didn't want Wayne courtside, "He finally just let me know, they not really tryin' to sell tickets to him. They said they'll give him some tickets on the front row behind but they're not really tryin' to have him sittin' courtside."

He continued to reveal other problems with going to the game, "Then they also sent a message back sayin' the OKC policy was no special parking and no escort, so he gotta walk in like everybody else," he explained. "Why would you actually want to cause pandemonium? That's gonna make it harder for your security."
